WOW, this one really got people thinking. Some guesses were confident, some were hopeful, and a few were miles off. We thought that low, wide stance and classic roadster shape would make it a dead giveaway… clearly not.

The Honda S2000 is one of those rare cars that feels special before you even turn the key. Long bonnet, short rear, perfectly compact and unapologetically focused, it summed up everything great about late-’90s and early-2000s Japanese sports cars. Built from the end of the 1990s through the 2000s, it offered pure, old-school driving fun with no gimmicks—just a roof you could drop and an excuse to take the long way home. Today it’s a full-blown modern classic, and one people are very glad they didn’t all modify or crash.
