Drive Thru Encounters

FUNNY: Craziest Drive-Thru experiences revealed

In a recently released McDonald’s employee survey, drive-thru attendants have shared some of the most bizarre and humorous encounters they’ve experienced on the job. Here’s some of the best:

The Feathered Passenger

One attendant was taken aback when a customer pulled up with the passenger seat removed and replaced by a giant metal ring, upon which sat an enormous cockatoo. The bird was reportedly going wild as the driver placed their order.

The Bed-Driven Diner

Late one night, a man arrived at the drive-thru in a flatbed truck with a bed in the back. He placed his order and then drove just past the food collection window so the woman lying comfortably on the bed in the back could take the food, and then they drove away, leaving staff both amused and bewildered.

The Skeleton Passenger

A regular customer would come through the drive-thru with a fake skeleton wearing a hat seated in the passenger seat. The reason for this peculiar companion remained a mystery to the staff.

The Matcha Prank

Many staff reported this one, a prank involving a made up “McDonald’s Strawberry Matcha” drink that went viral. 1000s of customers tried to order the non-existent drink, leading to confusion and amusement among drive-thru staff.

The Drive-Thru Proposal

A man once proposed to his partner at the drive-thru window, coordinating with the staff to present the ring alongside their meal, creating a memorable and unexpected moment for everyone involved.

The Pajama Party

A group of friends, all dressed in matching pajamas, arrived at the drive-thru in the early hours, ordering breakfast while having a full-fledged dance party in their car, much to the amusement of the staff.

The Reverse Driver

A customer once navigated the entire drive-thru in reverse, flawlessly placing their order and collecting their food without ever turning their car around, leaving employees both impressed and confused.

Halloween:

While most nights at the McDonald’s drive-thru are filled with confused customers and questionable car modifications, Halloween is an entirely different beast. On this one sacred night, staff fight to work the window, knowing full well that something absolutely insane is bound to happen.

Here are two of the wildest Halloween encounters ever witnessed by drive-thru employees:

The Hearse with an Unexpected Passenger

One McDonald’s worker recalled the moment a jet-black hearse rolled up to the window at 3 AM, the driver dressed in full funeral attire, looking dead serious.

“I handed him his Burgers, and then I noticed… there was a COFFIN in the back.”

At this point, the staff assumed it was a prop. That is, until the coffin lid slid open and a man in a Dracula costume sat straight up, stared directly at the worker, and simply said…

“No ketchup?”

2. The Drive-Thru Exorcism

A car full of teenagers dressed as priests and nuns pulled up, ordered an unholy amount of Chicken Selects, and then suddenly began screaming in Latin.

“The guy in the driver’s seat started throwing McNuggets at the passenger while shouting ‘THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU!’ The girl in the back was foaming at the mouth—or possibly just choking on a McFlurry.”

Employees had no idea if it was a prank, a full religious breakdown, or just another Thursday in the McDonald’s drive-thru.
