The electric vehicle revolution has been charging ahead, but Ford has taken things one step further—by integrating kitchen appliances into their latest EV range. Yes, in a move designed to appeal to busy commuters, caffeine addicts, and people who really love toast, Ford’s latest electric models will now offer built-in home appliances as standard.
Gone are the days of sitting in traffic wishing you’d had time to make breakfast at home. Now, you can brew an espresso and toast a crumpet while waiting at a red light.

Ford’s Innovation & Lifestyle Study Group (which we suspect may just be a bunch of engineers who were hungry at a meeting) conducted extensive research and found that drivers increasingly want their cars to double as mobile kitchens.
“The results were undeniable,” said Ford’s head of Product Comfort, Gregg Bagel. “Customers want more than just cup holders—they want a fully functional kitchenette in their crossover SUV. The days of a car just being a mode of transport are over. People want to roast a bagel while on the M25.”
Among the most exciting new onboard culinary features:

The Ford Puma Barista Edition
The Ford Puma EV will be the first model to feature Ford’s full Kitchen Assist system, allowing drivers to prepare an entire breakfast without ever leaving the driver’s seat.
